My name is Kirsty, owner/operator of Bella Butterfly Beauty and Fitness, a boutique beauty salon specialising in Acrylic Nails & Beauty. My other passion is fitness which I also offer group fitness classes & one on one Personal Training & advice. Beauty for the inside & outside.

ACRYLIC NAILS 

Most of the pieces created are one-off pieces of art, with various glitters and mixes to mix and match to make the perfect set of Acrylic, Gel, Shellac nails to suit each and every occasion.

Our main goal is to have your nail as happy and healthy looking underneath as they look on top and to educate you how to do this, unfortunately we can’t follow you around all day long to ensure you do this, so regular 3 weekly infill appointments will need to be attended to ensure your nails are always balanced and in tip-top shape.

Acrylic nails do not damage the nail plate if applied correctly and removed correctly. You will be given information regarding this at your appointment. 

Here at Bella Butterfly Beauty, we follow very strict QLD Health guidelines so for this reason we only use single-use files. All metal implements used during your service are soaked in a hospital grade disinfectant and scrubbed and left to dry before being reused.

All sets of Acrylic nails receive a FREE UV top coat that is set under the UV light to give your enhancement extra protection and a high gloss shine. We use Lish acrylic nail systems and use the reverse method when doing a French application of acrylic as we believe this enables us to get the best French finish possible. Bella Butterfly Beauty regularly attends training updates to be kept up to date with the latest trends in Nails & Beauty.

Personally colour matched to your nail bed for the acrylic powder to be used on the natural nail and then form the white to create the tip a more crisp smile line is created this way and the end piece is much more elegant. 		$70

With many options & glitter mixes to choose from you will be the envy of the town when you walk out of the salon with one of a kind nails. So many options you won’t know which to choose we can embed almost anything into your acrylic, some options include mesh, fimo, glitter, snakeskin - the list is endless just like your imagination - $5 extra for each colour added		$75

Acrylic Nail Backfill
This entails filing back the top layer of the enhancement and filing down just the back of the enhancement and then filling it up with acrylic to strengthen. As while your nail is growing underneath your enhancement is growing further down the nail plate which is putting extra weight on the tip of the nail so filling the back of the nail up to ensure the balance of the enhancement is even throughout the entire length is paramount in keeping them strong and the natural nail stress free.		$50
French Acrylic Nail Rebalance
French rebalance entails me filing down the old acrylic down and reapplying with the French smile line further back to enable proper alignment on the balance of the nail and then reshaping & refiling and nails any nails that may need to be replaced at this stage will be charged at $5 each.		$60

Acrylic Removal
This entails filing down the acrylic and lessening the file grade until we are able to lightly buff the natural nail plate to remove the entire acrylic all done without damaging the natural nail plate. This is followed by a cuticle oil treatment and a hand massage.		$30

Quick soak of the nails, cut, file, push cuticles back, and clear coat nails or buff to a high shine then finish off with cuticle oil and a moisturise & massage of the hands.		$35

Nail soak, cut, file, push cuticles back, exfoliate with an essential oil blend salt scrub, hot towel down to relax you then followed by a moisturising massage of the hands and arms which is left on to soak in then the nails are either buffed to a high shine or the option is there to add Shellac colour or a clear coat can be applied.		$50

PEDICURE

Quick soak of the Fee, cut, file, push cuticles back, remove dead skin on bottoms of feet then dry off and buff nails to a high shine or clear coat nails then to finish off the treatment with a cuticle oil and a moisturise & massage of the feet.

A deep soak of the Feet, cut, file, push cuticles back, exfoliate with an essential oil blend salt scrub, hot towel down to relax you then followed by a moisturising massage of the feet and legs which is left on to soak in then the toe nails are either buffed to a high shine or the option is there to add shellac colour or a clear coat can be applied.		$55

Paraffin Wax Treatment or Shellac

Shellac polish is highly recommended to add on to these treatments for an extra $15 you will get at least 4 weeks of high shine, chip, smudge proof polish that is instantly dry when you walk out the door read more about CND Shellac under the shellac section above.		$20 (extra)

PARAFFIN WAX TREATMENTS

Paraffin wax treatments are luxurious spa treatments that are intended to moisturise and soften the skin it also soothes muscles, hydrates and stimulate the circulation, great for dry hands and feet, arthritis, sore joints or just as a little pick me up. First a moisturising cream is applied to your skin and then is bathed in the warmth of the paraffin wax. No other feeling can be compared to the warmth and sensation that paraffin wax offers it is then left on the hand or feet just like a mask.

Your feet will be detoxified in the Himalayan Salt Foot Soak to Stimulate blood and Energy Flow. The Himalayan Salt will draw out the body's toxins through the skin and relax the tissues.

Pink Himalayan sea salt is also rich in Minerals which can absorb easily into the skin & release energy into the water which stimulates the skin.

After soaking in the Himalayan Salt scrub your cuticles will be pushed back, your toenails will be nicely shaped and buffed and dead skin cells on your feet, filed off.

This will then be followed with a Himalayan Salt Exfoliating Scrub to remove dead skin cells from the legs and feet and will also cleanse and draw out toxins from the skin. The salt crystals will then be removed with hot towels and your senses will be treated to a foot and leg massage and afterward, you will be treated to a paraffin hot wax treatment to infuse the moisture back into the feet and increase circulation. Eyelash extensions include a collagen-infused under eye treatment while the procedure is being performed for no extra charge.

Individual lash extensions are meticulously applied lash by lash. Using faux mink eyelash extensions and have varying lengths available to suit your lashes, We are using these as they are so light and natural looking so less likely to damage the natural lashes. 

While relaxing on the bed as they are being applied you will be treated to an under eye collagen treatment so not only will you hop up with lusciously looking new eyelashes but also collagen infused under eye treatment. You will feel a million dollars.

HOT STONE MASSAGE

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly. This also heightens the sense of Relaxation & well being. Great for those who struggle to relax or get chilly throughout a massage due to circulation issues

To allow your massage treatment to be fully beneficial after you leave the salon, please avoid the following for the next 24 hours

  • stimulants, including alcohol, smoking, caffeine and fizzy drinks
  • strenuous activity
  • undertaking a long drive
  • heavy meals

If possible, try and relax for the following 24 hours and drink plenty of water as your lymph nodes, which have been stimulated, are removing toxins from the body. Your urine might be much darker than usual and more frequent this is due to the toxins leaving your body which is a good sign.

Usually, you will feel very relaxed, and be able to reap the benefits. However, you may also experience -

  • Aching and soreness within the muscles this is due to the release of toxins and the body’s nerves responding to the massage treatment.
  • Tiredness, caused by the release of toxins. After the tiredness has gone, you should feel refreshed and energetic.
  • Increased sweating, thirst or urination
  • Heightened emotions, perhaps even being tearful. This is due to the release of tensions.

Massages are recommended often, especially due to the fast-paced and stressful lives that we are living. To maintain the results, you can try the following

  • Take a warm bath once a week – this will help to loosen up your muscles.
  • Relax and distress – listen to music, burn some essential oils, etc.
